Which storage is essential, which analytics stay off until you allow them, and how to change that choice.

Essential

This site does not set an essential cookie. Pages, specialty lists, listings, claim, and takedown work without cookies and without analytics.

Two things can sit in this browser's local storage, which is not a cookie and is not sent to us as a form:

Your shortlist, if you save agencies. Site storage is on unless you turn it off in Privacy choices. Turning it off clears the shortlist.
Your privacy choice, after you press Decline, Allow analytics, or Save choices. Until you choose, nothing is stored for that purpose.

Analytics, non-essential

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are the only non-essential tools. Both stay off until you press Allow analytics, or turn Analytics on and press Save choices. Their scripts are on the page as inert text. They do not run, and they do not set cookies, before that explicit choice.

Decline saves a no. Leaving the notice up without pressing a button does not load them. Cancel, or Escape, in Privacy choices does not turn them on. We do not set advertising or marketing cookies, and there is no advertising measurement to allow.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity record page views, clicks on agency sites and on the advertisement, and session recordings with typed text hidden. Advertising storage and Google Signals are off. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, analytics start off.

If you allow analytics, those two services may then set their own cookies. What they are for:

Google privacy policy. Google Analytics 4 counts page views and clicks on agency sites and on the advertisement. Advertising storage and Google Signals stay off in our setup.
Microsoft Clarity cookies. Clarity records sessions with typed text hidden. We do not use it for ads.

We do not add other trackers.

How to change or withdraw

Open Privacy choices in the footer, or the same control on this page and on Privacy. Turn Analytics off and press Save choices. You can also press Decline on the notice the first time it appears. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics scripts on the next load and clears the analytics cookies this browser can delete.

How long it stays

The privacy choice stays in local storage on this device until you change it, clear site storage from Privacy choices, or clear this site's data in the browser. It is not sent to us. How long Google or Microsoft keep analytics data, if you allowed them, follows their own policies. We do not set a separate retention period for those services.

Claim and takedown mail

Claim and takedown open a draft in your mail app. This site does not send that email and does not store what you write. Nothing is sent until you send the draft yourself.

The draft is addressed to claims@mail.listedagencies.com. We do not receive it, and we do not keep a copy, unless you send it from your mail app.
